One day, there was a girl named Abby. She lived in a foster home because her parents died. She hated living in the foster home, she had friends but not many. The guardian was not polite, rude and especially mean to Abby. So one day, she chose to leave at 10:00 pm to visit her Grandma Beth. She lives in an elders home. Abby stopped by the gas station to buy something to eat. Abby was scared alone at night. She bought some orange juice and a candy bar. Abby was not able to afford it. The cashier said “It is on me, don't worry.” Abby said thank you in happiness. As she left, she heard a gunshot. bang! It was an old man in a coat who shot the cashier.
