Everybody is frightened by something. From pig heads impaled on a stick to a dead parachutist falling from the sky, in the world of Lord of the Flies, there are numerous reasons for which one should be scared. In the story, a group of English schoolboys find themselves stranded on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The children have no parents to protect them from the mysterious animal of a “beast” that is haunting them. The “beast” is a legacy that is abundant in changing throughout Lord of the Flies.
In the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding, because of three defining moments, Jack changed the most out of all the boys. The first of the moments that changed him occurred in the beginning of the novel on page 23 when Ralph was chosen to be the chief of the boys instead of Jack. Jack was upset at not being chief, but he still took a position of leadership by making the choir boys the hunters and volunteering to be in charge of them. Ralph says “Jack’s in charge of the choir. They can be-what do you want them to be?’’
“Once the feet are put right, all the rest of him will follow”. Those were Aslan’s words on chapter 16 of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, as he was bringing a giant back to life after it had been turned into stone by the Witch. Susan was worried that the giant would cause more harm than good, but Aslan knew what was the right thing to be done. While they were rescuing the statues at the castle, Peter and Edmund were fighting the Witch and her army. In the book, it states that it appeared to have many more people fighting for the Witch, than against her.

At first glance, “The Changeling” written by Judith Ortiz Cofer and the fantasy movie “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” directed by Andrew Adamson and based on the chronological novel, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” by C.S. Lewis seemed to be comparable in the unique ways that would surprise the audiences. The main similarity between the movie and the poetry struck me instantly when I read the poem. The fact that both works depict a little girl that act strong, imaginative, and playful, but upon further inspection, the fantasy element both possesses are similar as well. Of Mice and Men is primarily a book about two migrant workers, who jump from one job to another every now and again so they can survive everyday life. But to get into a little bit how the book goes starting off with the main characters. George and Lennie, face various situations where Lennie unpredictably and dangerously gets into problems that he can not get himself out of; which is where his partner George comes in who leads him in the correct direction. But unfortunately, as many know, all journeys must end sooner or later. That being said, Of Mice and Men depicts that all violence and mistakes in life are inescapable.
In C. S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe quote “And then Lucy saw that there was a light ahead of her; not a few inches away where the back of the wardrobe ought to have been, but a long way off. Something cold was falling on her” (Lewis 7). The Pevensies, who were four young English siblings, had to move to a friend’s house in the country due to WWII. The sibling’s parents wanted them to be safe and moreover, they were taken to a mansion deep into the woods, with a professor and a maid.

A villain- a character whose evil actions or motives are important to the plot. Macbeth’s greed for power is what shaped him to be the villain in the play. In Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Macbeth, despite the good Macbeth had done in the very beginning his actions throughout make him the villain.
In life, you will have a time where you must make a hard choice, one that could impact your life significantly. Once settling with the right decision you instantly get hit by regret and anxiety, questioning yourself if you choose the right decision or not. Emotions cause negative outcomes, affect people's lives. In the novel Lord Of The Flies, Roger had the decision to kill piggy. He has the chance to kill piggy, so he did.
Molding Macbeth Macbeth goes through serious changes in many versions of his story. Although different variations are produced, most of them stick to the original story line from the Macbeth play book written by Shakespeare. In this story, Macbeth was pointed towards many challenges; such as murder, mental health, narcissism, and madness. Macbeth is molded into this new character throughout the story line, becoming different with every scene.
Manhood is defined as the state or period of being a man rather than a child. The whole Macbeth play is surrounded by manhood. Macbeth was always trying to prove his manhood he always wanted to be the man and the boss of everything and everyone. He made it so difficult for other people to show their manhood and most of the ones that expressed their manhood were killed. Macbeth was the definition of a “man” wanting to control everyone all the time from the citizens of Scotland to his wife, I believe that in that time period it was so common for men to be controlling and bossy and Macbeth always tried to show that there was no one like him and he was not scared to demonstrate how far he could go to let everyone know that he was the boss, he was willing to kill.
Macbeth is the Shakespearean play that features the triumphant uprise and the inevitable downfall of its main character. In this play, Macbeth’s downfall can be considered to be the loss of his moral integrity and this is achieved by ambition, despite this, Lady Macbeth and the witches work through his ambition, furthering to assist his inevitable ruin. Ambition alone is the most significant factor that led to Macbeth’s downfall. The witches are only able to influence his actions through Macbeth’s pre-existing and the three witches see that Macbeth has ambition and uses it to control his action. Ambition alone is displayed throughout the play to be the most significant cause for Macbeth’s downfall.
