In the book “The Lone Ranger and tonto Fist fight in Heaven” by Sherman Alexie, in the 18th story of the book (Indian Education) the author explains how Victor keeps changing his mind and learning how to solve his own problem during all his time in school, racism was a common problem in that time, and from the very first year of school Victor does everything that he can in order to fight against it. Dividing each of his years of school, he explains one by one all the great lessons that he learned in each of these years of school.This makes it more interesting for the reader as it shows the point of view of an Indian American, so the readers can compare his school life with the life of the author which is a perspective that would change the mind of the reader thinking about racism. …show more content…

Starting from this point he learned that sometimes is better to get in trouble and show his power, than be always the little kid that is always bullied by the others, this does not represent the power of Indian American, even if he is a child; to support this idea he said “ I was the warrior, and I chanted It’s a good day to die, It’s a good day to die , all the way down to the principal's
