Colleges create some situations which could help you in your new job or in your life. I have a feeling that we are cached up in circle Money-Grades-Knowledge-Education –Money. All this things are important in our material world. We need to know something about it. Good way to teach us is to get higher education which helps in a future I believe.

As I begin my college education, I want to continue doing my best in order to accomplish my goal of becoming a registered nurse. With the scholarship money I can have the peace of mind of solemnly focusing on college. Students who have to work to continue their education have trouble focusing on school and do not have the extra time to study or go to tutoring sessions. When student-athletes received full scholarships, they should be privileged and thankful since the cost of higher education is very expensive. Student-athletes need to understand the circumstances and take of advantage of getting their degree from a well renowned university since the percentages are very slim to none on having a professional career in sports. The purpose of a student-athlete is to be a student first and then an athlete second. The main focus should be on earning a degree, and not worrying about when is the next game on the schedule. Many people are stating that college athletes should get paid, but how about the general student body that has little to nothing and working a job earning minimal pay.
Athletes who get scholarships don’t have to deal or worry about student loans, paying for textbooks, the cost of campus living, and meal plans.(3) Students who get scholarships don’t have to worry about being in debt because of loans because their college education is paid off from the scholarship. Then in the state of Pennsylvania 71 percent of students leave a public four year institution in debt around $32,528.(3) This is a normal person graduating from a college. They have to worry about paying back all of that money and students who get scholarships don’t have to worry about it.

Going to college is probably one of the most important things that I have done in my life so far. Thinking back to everything I have done in the past ten years or so, I can see that taking to leap of faith to join college and further my education was such a huge step for me and I am glad that I did. Before I joined Southern New Hampshire University, I knew I would need some motivation to enroll. I remember a story my father told me about how he had gone to Technical College and became a licensed Master Mechanic and that really motivated me to want to further my education. Also, my brother had talked to me about two months ago and had told me his experience with going to college to earn his English degree and me, being the competitive brother I am, didn’t want him to be the only sibling to earn a degree.
Doing what I love and being able to support myself and loved ones is important to me. I am a very independent person and I like to do things my way. I like to set individual goals everyday, whether that means doing my homework before a certain time, or completing something for the week. They help me get my work done on time and efficiently.

I have always enjoyed a good challenge. Whether it be physical or mental in nature, I always enjoy the feeling of being challenged; I think growing up closely with my two brothers helped to cement that attribute. The feeling of having a metaphorical fire lit underneath my feet fills me with deep feelings of resolve and desire, which I then choose to mix with a healthy dose of pragmatism. That last ingredient in my interior motivations, I believe, is the most overlooked in many others who share my love of challenges - and this may be why some challenges go unconquered. Although drive and the determination may be strong in presence, attempting a challenge without a pragmatic approach would be similar to heading out to sea before checking the weather.
