Germany was very mad over two things and the first was the many deaths they had to have as a alert action of the treaty. They lost against two cities on the French-German border and as per Wilson’s thirteenth point Poland was re-formed with access to the Baltic Sea, which went right through Germany. Letting Poland Sea access split Germany into two sections, the main section of Germany, and a tiny portion to the North of the Danzig corridor. The League of Nations, which was one of Wilson’s fourteen points and part of the Versailles Treaty, was a place in which countries could get there disagreements resolved. The issue was that the League of Nations did not have any effective power. The one thing they could actually do was try to reason with the other country to confess and if that did wouldn't work out they could enforce economic sanctions on that nation. But the league had such little effective authority power that the sanctions it passed were normally avoid and it could do not anything from that point on. Another non successful peace effort was the Washington Conference. At this meeting the principal naval powers permitted to limit their navies according to a complete fraction. But once again no powers really went through with their signing. But another unsuccessful peace effort was the Locarno Conference. Fascism was a movement that began before world war I, but did not become a large issue of political power until Benito Mussolini took over of the Italian government in 1922. With Mussolini Italy becoming of a Totalitarian government where labor unions were overthrown and political enemies died of being killed or being put into silencing. This effected many things to cause to Italy’s economic and social problems. The first of these issues was the down played living standard of the Italian society of the people. The workers had their eight hour work day dropped protection and their wages were dropped by the government. Mussolini recognized that Italian people's living standardizing was down played but he claimed that the Italian people were not used of being spoiled with a lot of food so it wouldn't matter. Mussolini wanted the population to grow because he wanted a bigger army so he asked the women to have more children. Mussolini used tactics much like the communists in that he had total control over all of the Italian population and could have people killed whenever he needed or wanted them to be executed in Italy, but he was not the only country to fall under Fascism. Germany adopted this form of government only it was called national socialism. It’s leader was Adolf Hitler and it called itself the Nazi
