“Hi” is all he said before he raised the gun and the bullet pierced her chest. While Priscilla Davis lived through the experience, Gus Gavrel was left paralyzed, 12 year old Andrea Wilborn and basketball star Stan Farr were killed. The question still remains, who was the man in the mansion? Although there have been many different accusations and conflicting truths, it has been revealed that the killer was a hitman that Cullen Davis Hired to kill his divorced wife.

A man of Mr. Davis’s social standing and experience isn’t somebody who would risk so much by getting caught. He has too much to lose. What actually happened is that Cullen hired a professional hitman to kill Priscilla in his divorce-fed revenge. He has shown violent tendencies before after all. He provided the hitman with the information needed to disable the security system. The fact that there was no evidence left at the crime scene also indicates a “professional job”. Cullen Davis, a man raised in oil money, wouldn’t have the experience needed to pull such a crime off flawlessly. During the second trial, it was revealed that Cullen had used hitmen before. Although the tapes weren't 100% legitimate and flaws were found in their production, enough was said by Cullen to show his willingness to solicit his competitors death. If he solicited the judge's death, it is likely that he would have arranged Priscillas also. On the night of the crime, Cullen was conveniently lounging at his girlfriend's house. His hired gunman broke into the house and killed Andrea then waited for Priscilla to return. She return home and gets shot with Stan and the gunman leaves without shedding any evidence. Then, only after an injured Priscilla Davis identified the killer as Cullen Davis in a wig was he arrested.

The trials were complicated by tampered evidence and untrustworthy witnesses but a killer has been identified.
