Picasso used a relatively monochromatic color palette, including shades of tan, dull green, light brown, and yellow. These colors appear to be near each other in shading, and they are muted or dull, there isn't a solitary bright color that stands out. Every one of these factors combines to make the entire painting's surface to appear to be unified.
