I believe the metathesis of Group Five (Lauren, Shreeja, Emma B.) will be something similar to: “The government and industry used the media as an important tool to influence the American people to help in the pursuit of their own goals.” Shreeja’s term paper showed how the Kennedy Administration was able to gain the praise of the public by using its control over the press to emphasize that the Soviets withdrew their missiles from Cuba, virtually leaving out that it was part of a larger compromise where the Americans also withdrew their missile from Turkey.
