Since he didn 't want to cause anymore trouble than there already was, he decided to accept the blame and carry it on his shoulders all alone. Even though it was difficult for him, he took full responsibility for everything that he was accused of. Luckily, the court did not find him guilty. William Mulholland
Wendy Cai Joseph Seale English 1101 26 September 2014 Battle of the Sexes and Media’s Portrayal of Jesus The effectiveness of a piece of writing depends on its ability to achieve its purpose. In both “Sex, Lies, and Conversation” by Deborah Tannen and “Jesus is a Brand of Jeans” by Jean Kilbourne, the authors effectively convey the intended message. Tannen argues that media affects the way in which men and women communicate because boys and girls grow up with different perceptions on how they should behave, and therefore, speak.
Williams is denying the crimes he committed. Stanley Williams was violent person growing up because of his child hood and the founder of a gang named Crips. Williams states " I am innocent and, yes, I have been a wretched person, but I have redeemed myself." This quote means that Stanley is denying what he did and is claiming that he is innocent but is still expressing how he changed from how he was before. One may think that even though he is denying his crimes, he still chenged from them, This supports my claim because it shows Williams is denying his crimes.
What would have happened if Jesus was sent before The Fall of Man happened and helped Eve? This is a question often pondered by theologians and followers of Christ. In C.S. Lewis ' Perlelandra Lewis recreates this scene in a scenario told from the point of view of Dr. Elwin Ransom - a fictional Christian professor previously sent to Mars - also known as Malacandra - and is then sent to Venus - the planet of love known as Perelandra in Lewis ' book. Ransom is sent to stop an Unman possessing the body of former enemy Professor Edward Rolles Weston who tries to convince the planet 's first inhabitant to break away from God - known to her as Maleldil. Ransom eventually successfully defeats the Unman with help from Maleldil.

People do things that should not be done. They also know that it can fixed by simply confessing, but the thought of letting people down stops us. Wayne’s guilt was literally eating at him, and he mentioned that, “He did it once, and it almost killed him” (50). That one time caused him to never do it again. The only problem was that he never admitted his wrongdoing.
His dedication to this belief was made clear in “The Apology,” as even he acknowledged that if he had simply gotten down on his knees and begged for forgiveness or to be sentenced leniently, he almost certainly would
The Misfit, like the grandmother, goes by a title rather a specific name. Being nameless, the Misfit is not just one man but it represents as a whole the personification of evil in the world. The title of Misfit accurately portrays evil’s relationship to God. Evil isn’t just a part of God’s plan for creation; therefore it doesn’t fit how the protagonist was humiliated in order to recognize his state of sin and thus be open to redemption.
“Listen, you shouldn’t call yourself The Misfit because I know you’re a good man at heart. I can just look at you and tell,” said the grandmother. The misfit was moved by the old women words that he almost reddened. The old lady looked like his mother, if she had made it to old age. As The Misfit drew small circle with the tip of his gun
