It is always important to think things through before acting.In WIlliam Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet there were big consequences because the characters did not think twice. The three characters most responsible for Romeo and Juliet's death are Mercutio, Friar Lawrence, and Juliet. These three characters all had something to do with Romeo and Juliet’s death.
Mercutio is the third most responsible character for Romeo and Juliet’s death. Mercutio tells Romeo to dance with other women, to forget about Rosaline. “Nay, gentle Romeo, we must have you dance.” (1,4, 13) Mercutio tells him to forget about Rosaline, which is the reason Romeo met Juliet. Then Mercutio causes the fight with Tybalt in act three.“And but one word with one of us? Couple it with something, make it a word and a blow.” (3,1 37-48) Mercutio makes Tybalt mad and fights him. This is the reason he got stabbed, he dies and then Romeo kills Tybalt causing his banishment from Verona. After this the action rises.
