Do you ever wonder if the things you do every day are harming others and the environment? Many people do not realize that their actions were such a big problem. This paper represents a dystopian society, the opposite of a utopian society. A dystopia is when a certain problem is occurring in the world and how it is affecting society.
The movie Wall-e is represented as a dystopian society. Wall-e was a trash collecting robot who was left to clean up the messes made by humans. The lack of taking care of the environment to where the conditions are so bad people can’t live there, is what makes it a dystopian society. The pollution was so bad it forced all the living organisms off of earth and to another planet. The movie Wall-e is not much different than the real world, every day we do things that hurt the environment. For example the humans in the movie completely trash Earth, so badly they are forced to leave the planet. In the real world people do things like littering, polluting the air, even dumping waste, trash, or chemicals into our oceans ruining sea life. The things we do have a direct impact on the environment, people and animals. This movie could have been made for many reasons, but the main reason for this movie was to raise awareness about what we were doing to our environment in a kid-friendly way so everyone could understand the true effect of what we are doing. The moral of this movie is the easiest way to do something might not always be the safest of the most beneficial. What I mean by this is by littering and dumping into the oceans and taking cars everywhere might be the easiest way to get something done, but there are major effects from doing all these
