Navajo code talkers were used a lot in the pacific campaign, and they also played a critical role in many of the major battles, including the Guadalcanal, tarawa, Saispan, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa. The navajo code talkers used a complex code that was based on the navajo language. The group was developed by a group of Navajo linguists and it was designed to be unbreakable by any other language. The code consisted of a series of words that were used to represent military terms, such as tank, and airplane, as well as phrases and sentences that were used to convey tactical information. The navajo code talkers were not only responsible for the development of the code but also for its implementation. They were also trained to use the code and were assigned to different units throughout the pacific theater.
