Fashion designers wish to pursue a world without discrimination and awareness towards world problems. As a matter of fact, fashion designers deliberately raise their voice with their platform, designers are commenting on first world problems that individuals have not fully acknowledged or few ignoring. According to Sara Bauknecht, in the past 2016-2017 activism has been on the rise and fashion designers are taking a stand or donating to charities, that speak on the controversy that is going on. For example, The Council of Fashion Designers of America officially partnered up with Planned Parent Hood in order to raise awareness and educate the public about the importance of Planned Parent Hood (Sara Bauknecht.) Moreover, CDFA included pins that support Planned Parenthood and encouraged others to voice their opinions. Equally important, we now see creativity on the rise, fashion
