1252 Words6 Pages

Have you ever abruptly woken up from a nightmare so terrifying and so seemingly realistic? It takes a lot of courage to get up each morning and hope for a good day when your faith is quivering. Connor realizes in this moment that he has done all that he can do. He admits to the truth he has been keeping so close to himself which finally allows his secret to be uncovered. Connor was brave enough to face his fears and own up to the unwanted doubts and fears he has been keeping in for so long throughout his mother journey. The monster that haunted Connor each night at 12:07 p.m., is the same monster that reminds me each day of how fortunate I am to still have such an amazingly beautiful and healthy mom by my side. Although our stories may be different in some aspects, both Connor and I have been visited by the same terrifying nightmare that soon became our very own reality.
