Benjamin Franklin was an ambitious man who liked to challenge himself. He wanted to be the best and thought very highly of himself. In his early life he wasn’t rich or educated, he actually ran away from home. But, he decided he wanted to change and become a successful man. If he can become as successful as he did from nothing than anybody can. He wanted people to challenge themselves and do better for himself like he did. If life wasn’t a challenge then there would be no point of it and everyone would be equally successful.
In The Autobiography Benjamin Franklin states, “My scheme of Order gave me the most trouble… It was not possible to be exactly observed by a master, who must mix with the world, and often receive people of business at their own houses.” People cannot become morally perfect because life is full of surprises. You never know what is going to happen and people don't have the power to predict the future or prevent inevitable events. Benjamin Franklin had the most trouble with order because it was not up to him, he was a businessman and not everything is planned. That goes for everybody. The best we can hope for is to be happy and help others. We are humans and it is okay to not be perfect but you should always help others. It is still worth the effort to try to reach higher standards because it can help you reach happiness. If you cannot reach perfection, you must reach for as high as you can.
