Half-Blood Oracle
As John Maxwell once said, “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” A responsible leader is innovative, trustworthy, empathetic, and determined. They care for their people and have good problem solving and communication skills. They set the precedent and are benevolent. Therefore, Percy Jackson is the most responsible leader and bears better leadership skills. He is trusted, humble, and beneficent.
In The Odyssey, Odysseus is an effective leader because he is resourceful and innovative. After ten years of fighting in the Trojan War, Odysseus organized the plan to infiltrate themselves in a horse that would be given as a gift. By doing so, they caught the Trojans by surprise and unprepared, leading them to victory and the possibility to finally return home. The Trojan War is a great example of Odysseus' effective leadership qualities because it demonstrates how he is patient and creative. The powerful Half-Blood adolescent is seen to be a revered leader when he encounters Kronos. After the hardships they faced, Percy felt defeated and had lost hope as they watched Kronos begin to be resurrected. After seeing this, his friend encouraged and reassured him he was a great leader by taking a vote, in which Clarisse, his rival, also agreed on. Despite the many difficulties, he was strong and persevered to finally defeat the treacherous monster. The defeat of Kronos is an example of how Percy is a great leader because his friends all agreed upon it, showing how trustworthy and compelling he is. Furthermore, it demonstrates his initiative and perseverance when he freed everyone and kept fighting
