Youth is valuable but it does not last forever, and with your youth comes your innocence. The Outsiders is a book written by S.E. Hinton about a few not so wealthy teens called the Greasers. The gang on the other side of town, the Socs jump Greasers for fun. It is an endless struggle for the Greasers because all they have is each other. They show us to always be there for eachother. They always stick together and if one of them gets jumped the others will be there to help. One way they show is this us because Ponyboy visits Johnny very often in the hospital. On page 122 The nurse says his mom wants to see him in the hospital but Johnny would rather see Ponyboy than his mother. This shows Johnny and Ponyboy were better tied together
