The Pelican Brief Summary The Pelican Brief is about a young law student in Louisiana who writes a little Brief about who killed Justices Rosenberg and Jensen and why they did it. Darby shaw the Lady who wrote the brief showed it to her Professor / lover. Professor Callahan then handed it to his best friend in the FBI before being murdered. Darby then contacts Callahan's friend Verheek and the plan to meet. Verheek is then murdered by Khamel the same man who killed the Justices.
