The People v. O. J. Simpson is a case that will forever divide the Unites States of America. The verdict of the case brought anger to many people, yet happiness to others. Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were murdered brutally on the 12th of June in 1994 by Orenthal James “O.J.” Simpson. Orenthal pleaded not guilty after a 266-day long trial. Orenthal James Simpson was born on July 9, 1947 in San Francisco, California. Simpson was a former actor, broadcaster, and NFL football star (Shoft). In his early life, Simpson’s parents got divorced in 1952, therefore Simpson along with his siblings, one brother and two sisters, were raised by their mother. Simpson’s horrific crime. She was born on the 19th of May in 1959 in Frankfurt, Germany (Biography.com). Her mother, Juditha, met Louis Brown, her father, in Germany. Louis was an American who was stationed in West Germany at the time (Biography.com). Louis and Juditha Brown got married in Germany where they had two daughters, Denise and Nicole Brown (Biography.com). The Browns moved to Garden Grove, California when Denise and Nicole were toddlers, and there the couple had two more daughters, Dominique and Tanya (Biography.com). Brown Simpson did not have a hard time adjusting to the life in the United States especially with her physical characteristics, a tall beautiful blonde. She attended Dana Hills High School, where she won homecoming queen (Biography.com). At the age of 18, Brown Simpson started working as a waitress at a restaurant, and there she met O.J. Simpson (Biography.com). Simpson was still married at the time, however the two fell for each other quickly. They got married in 1985 in Simpson’s residency in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California. The couple had two kids, Sydney and Justin, and Nicole was very devoted towards them. O.J. and Nicole’s marriage was not all that good because O.J. was not only unfaithful, but he also abused Nicole.
