The book chosen is Indiana Jones and the Peril at Delphi written by Rob MacGregor. This book was published in June of 2008, a republication of the book from February of 1991. The book was published by Bantam Dell located in New York City. The Peril at Delphi can be described as an action adventure book with parts of mystery and drama all mixed into it. The book starts of taking place in Chicago where Indiana Jones is taking classes. Then he goes overseas to paris where one of his professors want him to accompany her to an archaeological dig site in Greece. It is in Greece where the majority of the story takes place. Indy ends up getting wrapped into discovering an ancient stone buried deep within the ruins in Greece. His professor who brought him along for the discovery had much more sinister intentions with him. She makes him a piece in her underlying plot to assassinate the king. There were not many personal connections that I could connect to other than that you can not truly trust someone. Throughout the story Indiana Jones keeps getting persuaded and pulled along by countless amounts of lies that his seemed to be trustworthy professor was telling him. Everyone has their own thoughts and motives behind everything they do. The Peril at Delphi was able to help me realizing this by writing parts of the story from the professor 's viewpoint, explaining her secret motives and tactics for using Indy in her plan. Whenever someone asks for me to do something or to go along with what they are doing I would go forth without too much hesitation. The ways that the author has been able to portray the different motives behind people makes me stop and think about following through now. Ill ask questions and ponder about why it is me that they want to go with
