The perks of being a wallflower is a novel that contains a series of letters from Charlie Kelmeckis to an anonymous person. He writes letters about what is happening in his life and how he is dealing with it. Charlie considers this person his “friend” even though they have never met. The story is sad, exciting, and funny.
