Being a non-believer created tensions in the streets and chaos amongst people. The blame would be turned over to those who disobeyed God. Followers of the Catholic Church weren’t the only ones who had their own reason to how the plague started but also Islam. Although Christians and Muslims had the same concept of the plague, they had showed different approaches to it. Christians demonstrated showed little understanding or even awareness to the views that Muslims took.
