Money is power, It can get you anything. No matter how much money you have it won't give you happiness. Wealth is a big part of F. Scott Fitzgeralds the Great Gatsby it shows the powers of money and the fact that it can't give you everything you want in addition to the reality that coming from money gives people an advantage then the people that recently became rich. Some people belief that having money autumnally makes them complete, that it is all a person needs to be happy. When in fact that's not the truth. Gatsby only had money; he didn't have anything else. Money can do a lot of things, but it can't buy you friends, love and happiness. Gatsby would host a lot of parties that many people would attend; However, Gatsby didn’t form any close relationships with the partygoers. After his death “nobody came” to his funeral. Not the people that “used to go by the hundreds” (175) not even his “friend Mr. Wolfsheim” (69).
