178 Words1 Pages
The Princess points to the door that housed the tiger behind it. It says in the text that she’s a jealous person, so she would never have let her lover marry the girl whom she despised. “The princess hated her” shows that she has strong feelings towards the other maiden, and they aren’t good emotions. She would rather have him die than lose him to the other maiden. She was said multiple times to have a hot head, so she would have never let her lover marry another. “...her intense and fervid soul...“ as it’s stated in the writing. She could look away as the tiger came out, so she wouldn't have to see that blood; she could cover her ears to block out the screams but she couldn't ignore the marriage forever. She would have led her lover to death.
