I believe that Mexico can be considered a liberal democracy because they have the same capital system as the United States does. The rights and freedoms protected by the constitutions of liberal democracies are varied, but they usually include most of the following: rights to due process, privacy, property and equality before the law, and freedoms of speech, assembly and religion. In liberal democracies these rights may sometimes be constitutionally guaranteed, or are otherwise created by statutory law or case law, which may in turn empower various civil institutions to administer or enforce these rights. In the most recent elections a candidate was elected to be president and the soon to be president doesn’t really show support for mexico and many feel that it will affect mexico in their economy more than anything. There are worries about the human rights and civil liberties in mexico that concern the democratization in Mexico because of the gasoline prices going up and having no gasoline in some cities in mexico, people struggle to make money as it is and the government still puts the gas prices up and the workers hide the gasoline so that they can get more money. This situation interferes with many companies like those who grow crops in mexico because it’s harder for them to transport all their crops to a certain place without there being any gasoline in the cities.
