Although some women feel as though abortion is wrong. Others feel that they should have the right to go things to their body without government interference. In 1973 the United States Supreme Court decided the case of Roe V. Wade. Jane Roe was a single mother trying to raise one child on a limited income.
Your body, your choice. An abortion is an incredibly personal decision that a woman may need to make for herself. It is not someone anyone else should get to determine. Not giving her that option takes away her right to choose what's best for her and her body. With certain states banning abortion, it is practically controlling and choosing what a woman should do with her body.
According to the WHO, there are an estimated 40-50 million abortions every year around the globe. The dictionary definition for abortion is ‘the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy’, and people usually very absolutist about their stances regarding this topic. The two sides of the argument are those who are pro-choice or pro-life. The pro-choice side argue that it is the free will of the parent/s to decide on how to handle the pregnancy as unplanned pregnancies could mean a detrimental life for both the parent/s and the baby as the parent/s may not have the resources to support and take care of the baby, or are not ready for such big change and responsibility. On the other hand, the pro-life side argue that life begins at conception
One side of the argument is Pro-Choice, this is the side that is for abortion. This side believes each woman should have the choice to do what they want with their body, this thought process is what spurned the Roe vs. Wade case. Pro-Choice focuses strictly on the women who is pregnant. The idea that it is their body is a valid point, the idea that not all pregnancies are planned or even wanted is another point that the Pro-Choice movement will argue to defend their side of this abortion debate. Pro-Choice feels that the women’s civil rights are being violated by not having the choice to decide for themselves.
They are afraid of taking responsibility for a new life. After deeply analyzing both positions, I decided to be pro-choice. It was not an easy decision because there are various factors that play a role in keeping or aborting a baby. We are humans that make mistakes. We all approached both sides in a respectful way.
She may have family and or financial problems preventing her from being able to properly care for the child. Women are forced to hear both sides of the debate and feel the intensity of a decision. Abortion is the said woman’s private decision and should not be stopped by any law. Only the woman herself knows her body, so abortion is a choice based solely on her feelings. There is a divide among the people of the United States surrounding the idea of women being able to have abortions. Some people strongly believe that women should not be able to have abortions, they consider themselves to be pro-life. While other people firmly believe that women have the right to have abortions, those people are considered to be pro-choice. Women across the world should have the right to choose whether or not they want to have abortions because they have the right to their own bodies.

Abortion is just a technical way of saying the murder of a unborn and should be abolished. Abortion is murder. According to lifenews.com, federal law prohibits the death penalty for a pregnant women until after the child is born. (18 U.S.C.A.S.3596). Doing this means according to the law, a innocent unborn infant cannot be sentenced to death for a crime he/she did not commit.
Abortion is one of the most controversial topics discussed in our world today. Millions of fetuses never got a chance to be born because a mother chose to abort them. Although I do not believe in abortion, I believe a woman should have the right to decide whether to have a baby or not. Our textbook presents views and arguments on the issues. Abortion is a very sensitive issue. Many people are constantly debating whether or not abortion should be allowed or not. Some people think abortion is very bad and that it should not be allowed at all. They think abortion is like committing murder as it is killing the human fetus. Others feel that the parents should have the right to choose and it is not murder until the baby is born.
Pro-Choice is the correct side to choose because a mother should be able to decide if this is the best thing to do for their child. Not all abortions are performed on capable mothers and or teenagers. “So sorry, fifteen-year-old girls who got drunk at a party, single mothers with all the kids they can handle and no money, mothers preoccupied with taking care of disabled children, students with just one more year to a degree, battered women, women who have lost their job or finally just landed a decent one, and forty-five-year-olds who have already raised their kids to adulthood, to say nothing of women who just don 't feel ready to be a mother, or maybe even don 't ever want to be a mother." (Abraham Laurie 4) This shows that pregnancy isn 't always a thing that is cherished and appreciated.
The two sides of the debate are pro-life and pro-choice. Pro-life is the people who do not like the idea of abortion. They claim that life begins at conception and that abortion is murder. They also say that the fetus can feel pain during the abortion and that it is unfair to families that cannot conceive on their own that are waiting to adopt
Abortion Abortion is the ending of pregnancy by abolishing a fetus or embryo before it can survive outside the uterus. Abortion is a very controversial topic, for example, one side of this topic believes abortion is cruel and committing murder, while the other side believes that since the fetus or embryo isn 't developed enough to be considered a living human being yet, that abortion is not commiting murder. Despite this information, there is a lot more to abortion than the opinion of it being “right” or “wrong”. According to “Students for life” who are pro life, about 1 million abortions are executed each year in the US. That data adds up to 22% of pregnancies ending in abortion.
Abortion has many pros and cons ha deserve to be properly discussed ad deliberated upon,before one makes a decision to support or oppose it. Every year man young women within the United States find themselves faced with an unplanned pregnancy. Whether it was unplanned or they were a victim of un consensual sex,it should naturally be the woman 's choice to have the baby or not. As young wom it can be more stressful to take on the responsibil of a child,i can even be life threatening. In some cases it is necessary to abo the baby
