In my attempt to answer my research question, “Why are books banned?” , I have used three main sources to conduct my research on this topic, two online articles, and one book. It is good to ban books because the ones that are banned have foul/bad language, are unsuitable for the age group it is designed for, and are very violent. I totally agree that not all books should banned because reading is good for people, but some people say that all books should not be banned and that people should have the choice of what they want to read. Then what if does not want to read violent books and books with foul language in it, and then picks up a book that they think looks interesting. Then they read something they should not have read or did not want to read. There are some things that never should have been written and that people should not read, those things need to be banned.
