Many books that are banned or censored are because people, mainly parent blame that it teaches kids violence, vulgar language, which craft, and, LGBTQ community. Book banning is when a group of people challenges a book to be banned from libraries and the ACLU, which ties in censorship. Censorship is when covering the part that is unacceptable to society, politically unactable or it is obscene. One of the books that are being challenged a lot is And Tango Make Three, it a book about two penguins taking care of a chick (baby penguin), it was written by Peter Parnell, Justin Richardson. The main reason the book is banned because it includes a homosexual relationship that many parents did not enjoy their kids learning it.
