The First is Good-bye To All That, an autobiography written by Robert Graves about his experience and life during the Great War. The second source is The Great War: The First Phase written by Frank H. Simmonds is a historical textbook that analyzes the early stages of the war. I will go in depth on specific parts from each book to give a more narrow view of each source.

Cheez-Its have been banned from the cafeteria. There was an incident at the school with them. A child choked on one and had to go to the Emergency room because there was no air going through her breathing tube. Her face was turning bright red and had to leave immediately.
The teacher discovered that the student was not eating while she was away from school. So, she gathered all of her “school snacks”, (food items that she ate while at school, microwavable macaroni and cheese, pasta bowls, etc.) and presented them to the student to eat during the school’s winter break. This incident made the staff “check on” other students that were suspected with having food-insecurity. Supplying students with basic needs such as: food items, addresses other unwarranted behaviors. When students are given the basic resources that they need to perform, there will be a better desired outcome.
In both of Hawthorne’s works there is a familiar theme, sin, which ties both of the stories together. Determining the healthiness of food being served to students during school lunches is a very important subject. Although eating healthy is important it should not be the only factor contributing to whether or not taking away students favorite school lunches is beneficial. I don't believe that it is a good idea to take away students favorite school lunches and replacing them with all healthy foods is a good idea because of these three reasons. One, the cost of the healthier food, two, the student environment and mood of the school, and three, the fairness to the students whose only meal is the lunch they receive at school.
ROUGH DRAFT For the past few years in the United States school lunches did not have healthy programs that could help kids with their nutritional balance, now in days the government create a new program that can help school to have a better nutrition. Are School Lunches Really Healthy For You? Imagine going to school and thinking, oh boy what am I going to have for lunch today? And all of the sudden you see something you don’t like, so you don’t eat it and then your stomach starts to growl.
