Okay, I know I 'm little late on the news but I would look to discuss about this. So today, former MVP Derrick Rose, has been traded from the Chicago Bulls to the New York Knicks with Justin Holiday and second round pick for the 2017 draft (ESPN.com). Chicago Bulls received Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon, and Jerian Grant. In my opinion, this trade is good for both teams. Derrick Rose admitted that he wanted to go to the Knicks after founding out that he will be traded. Even though Rose had battle with various injuries since his ACL injury, some Knicks fans are happy with this trade. Derrick Rose is still one of most talented point guards in the league and is dangerous when he is healthy. The obvious problem is keeping Derrick Rose healthy throughout the season. If the Knicks managed to keep Rose healthy, this team can be playoffs qualifiers with Carmelo and Porzingis. …show more content…

Lopez can be good at center while Gasol moves back to power forward, a position he excel at before. For the point guard, the Bulls doesn 't have anyone that can match with Jimmy Butler, their shooting guard. Since Jimmy Butler is their new star since Derrick Rose is now gone, they need found someone who can the number one spot efficient
