After returning to the United States, it is obvious that I have returned to a very different environment. The first couple of days, Donald Trump has signed some new executive orders which have been criticized by both national and international authorities and institutions. These executive orders are not only problematic for the States but also for the World as a whole. The main concerns are mostly related to economic issues and foreign relations according to the new implementations of populist and protectionist policies. I am particularly interested in the Immigration ban which restrains seven Muslim Countries access to the States. Trumps executive orders about the immigration ban for 7 Muslim countries are not acceptable for thousands of people not only for Muslims but also other people who believe equality and democracy. According to the Guardian, the executive order does not fit with the American values as nondiscrimination (Borger et al, 2017). Guardian also states that there needs to be some protocols after doing these policies in order to protect the immigrants (Borger et al, 2017). This is certainly supportable idea because government agencies could not blame people as terrorist due to their nationalities and ethnic roots. Moreover, no one has a right to select their families before they were born. Immigration ban is not only a human rights problem but also economic problem for the United States as a whole. Elstrom and Rai express that “Immigrant STEM workers have contributed an outsize share to founding new companies, getting patents, and helping build up American companies, which in turn because of their success have created tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of jobs” (Elstrom, Rai, 2017). According to Elstrom and Rai, the immigrant workers who work in the Silicon Valley will be effected due to this executive order. Firms in the Silicon Valley need to hire Americans instead of
