In conclusion, the health care system has make a number of progress within the last ten years with the help of technology such as electronic chart through electronic medical records (EMR) and electronic health record (EHR) in the health care system. Due to the high technology, we have nowadays, it has become much easier for physicians and patients to track their medical health, through the use electronic charts. The greatest disadvantage that impacts electronic charting is the old-school physicians that can’t use the system due to their lack of technological knowledge. Everything has an impact on the health care system, but the important part is how people react and deal with the situation. Overall the electronic medical record and electronic charting helps to improve the Canadian health care system. Also, electronic charting done properly can help to put the patient’s health out of risk, and achieving good health outcomes. Therefore, patient’s health care has improved in the last few years and hopefully will continue to do so, because of the Electronic Charting in the health care system. Thus, using the electronic charting beside the paper charting will help prevent physicians from putting their patients at risk and will encourage a better health care system in Canada through these constant advancements in technology and the consistent search to achieve higher quality of care and to meeting the needs of the growing and varying issues patients experience
