In the article I agree with “Richard Pereze-Pena when he states that we have to talk more about guns. Carrying guns can be a deadly mistake causing grave injury or even death. There have been many instances where human rage or even anger causes people to start shooting. Advertently or inadvertently killing each other at the moment of uncontrollable anger. These incidents occur regularly, but are the laws designed to protect us effective?

Purchases of weapons by citizens should require the specific license(s) for they type of weapon, use of the weapon, and its intended location to be stored and its transport to the location for use. Further requirements enacted that the citizen (purchaser) pass written license exams every three years. Additional proficiency testing on a weapons range for each weapon owned every other year. All weapons stored in with biometric trigger lock in a biometric locked gun safe.
Governments are responsible for achieving public safety, and in their interest to provide security and human development for their citizens. Every day we hear about new crimes; shootings, people killed, people wounded. If we want to live in a safe community and a safeguarded society then further restricted gun control laws to be enacted. We also have to teach our children about guns and other weapons, and how they are dangerous and are to be only handled with care. Guns and weapons are a big problem and education are key elements.
