The immediate problem was that was it possible for the White House to agree and act jointly with the President on the healthcare reform. The reason is because too many healthcare reforms had been failed and it was a very big step to take.
Obama’s Administration believed that it is a test of problem-solving for the country. It was intended to prove that countries with the help of people’s voice can always solve problems and the skate was that a failure to govern would be no different than a failure in this plan.
Insurance companies and doctors and hospitals around the nation opposed the health care reform. Hospitals and insurance companies stood to lose from the Reform. The stake was that the healthcare reform would cost millions of billions …show more content…

The interest that they kept in their minds where their own interest or in other words, self-interest.
This documentary tells us how big money can be used either for or against a certain reform in American politics. Law is made and blocked for the benefits of the people who make the laws. People with a big amount of money control American political process.
As much as we know how they are a big part of our political system, Interest groups only keep self-interest in their minds. They don’t want such a huge change to take place among the people of America because it won’t benefit them in any way.
What I have learned about American politics is that interest groups take a very big role in our political system. Wealth or money is also a big part because it can either shape the economy for either better or worse. As we might not know what happens daily in the politics, people are continuously fed by the groups that hold a huge amount of money which causes propagandas in the political arena that can only go against a certain reform which can also cause a change in the public opinion. We can always hope for the better but at the same, we should stay ready and alert for the worst because we can’t know for sure what the future
