The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria has been in control over a large amount of territory in the Middle East in recent months. Along with being a terrorist group, some say worse than Al-Qaeda, they are also in process of becoming the leaders to a possible World War III. The terror they have caused in recent months has never been witnessed before in history. ISIS is a different terrorist group than any other, being responsible for kidnappings, beheadings and deaths of thousands of innocent civilians. Although Obama has a plan in which ISIS shall be completely eliminated in a process of 3 years, most citizens do not agree with this. Throughout the interview he criticized President Obama in his handling of fighting ISIS. Romney gave his opinion on how he considered Obama being wrong for ruling out ground troops. He as many other Republicans argued that President Obama should have never allowed the ground troops that were stationed in Iraq return. In the interview he stated, “I think the president’s wrong in saying that under no circumstances will he consider ground troops. No one wants to see our own ground troops there, but if you’re going to defeat something you don’t tell the enemy exactly what you plan on doing or what you won’t do, you say, ‘We’re going to defeat you regardless of the consequence’”(Kaplan).
