Vaccinations have benefited the public health condition regarding many diseases including influenza. However, vaccination has always been an ethical and controversial public health issue. The influenza vaccine is one such vaccine that has come into question for various reasons such as the ingredients used to manufacture the vaccine as well as the efficacy of the medical procedure. **cite**Despite efforts to educate the public about the importance, risks and benefits about vaccines, the resistance to vaccination is still present the general population. **cite** The resistance to vaccines is a very important public health issue.
