We experienced different leadership in the Philippines, from Emelio Aguinaldo to Rodrigo Duterte and they contributed a lot of things in our country whether it is negative or positive, all of them did something good and something bad. But my point is who among them did a lot of good things. These presidents have become leaders because of their own learning efforts and their actual experiences. But base in my different professors and relatives they said that the best president that they experienced was Ferdinand Marcos, his leadership was very good and he did a lot of good things for the people of the Philippines, that was they said but it is opposite from the media said. When he decided to file his candidacy, I already told to myself that I will vote him without any doubt. I know from the start that he will win. I felt his sincerity, every time he talked about the problem of our country. He always saying that he hate drugs, he hate corruption. And he proved that when he won and implemented the war of drugs. As a leader, Mr. Duterte uses a combination of different leadership skills characterized by firmness in decisions, taking responsibility for all actions made and the ability to accomplish the desired outcomes. He is a transactional leader with charisma to the masses. He actively monitors the work performed by subordinates and executes corrective actions if deviations from expected standards occur. He is an entrepreneurial leader, a risk taker, and a negotiator. His autocracy fits the level of maturity of the Dabawenyos.
