Mental Health Care Prices Mental health care is expensieve, we all know that. The prices for a single appointment with a therapist on average are $100-$200. These prices are only going to get higher over time. Mental health care prices need to be decreased. People with mental health problems are not motivated to make money, they lose their jobs, and because the prices are too high for most people to pay even if they are working they can not pay for their care. About 50% of people with mental health problems do not seek treatment and a big role in that is the high prices of said treatment. When these people are not motivated it is really hard for them to do their jobs and make the money they need to support their family and then they have to pay so much money for them to be able to get better.
