The Controversial Topic What does sports got to do with anything with school? Well, students find sports to be a hot topic to talk about in their spare time at school. There’s always an argument going on about the best players or the best teams. Students have their opinions with who is the best pro athletes. Also the biggest arguments come when playoffs arrive. Especially in the NBA, MLB, and the NFL. The opinion of the middle school students about sports, Are that the 6th graders can’t play athletic activities until 7th grade. The 7th and 8th graders have to keep grades above a 70% to stay eligible, but if there grades are under 60% they are ineligible for that sport until their grades are better but until their grades aren’t better they have to go to after school tutoring. There is always opinions about sports who is the best team and who has the best superstar player, and how many superbowls did that team win.And most people or students make strong opinions about their team and how their the best team ever. …show more content…

Do the students have the actual proof behind their reasoning? Well let’s put the facts on the table. The best overall team in the NFL defensively is the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers shut down the Seattle Seahawks offense in the first half of the 2015-2016 NFC Division Game Best Offensive team is the New England Patriots. Especially when they are healthy. Each game the Patriots lost, they weren’t 100% healthy and set for games. In the MLB, the Chicago Cubs has the projected best record in 2016 of a record of 93-69. They made many additions to the team that made them look like the team to beat. In the NBA, the Golden State Warriors is the best and the record proves it all at 39-4. All these leading teams being factual and it is possible to backup all my reasoning for each very one. So really, why do middle schoolers still argue about this at
