Network neutrality has been the main freedom of the internet, allowing unrestricted access to all content regardless of source. Internet service providers (ISPs) could not discriminate or block any sites or services. This principle ensured that the users have a open platform for knowledge, opinions, and marketing, etc. it was a code most were happy to live by. Though some are saying that network neutrality is actually blocking the free internet, it does so much better than that. Network neutrality has been the basic principle set to ensure that major companies can’t interfere with web traffic by slowing down, blocking or singling out any sites or content. The idea supported by a vast majority of people, but sadly disliked by bigger businesses, so it’s time with us was sadly cut short.
