Racial profiling is what police are using on people to accuse them of things that they never did. Racial profiling is when a person is stopped while they are walking, driving, bicycling, or when doing simple tasks, for no reason due to their race or where they came from. For example, “[t]he phrase “driving while black” comes from African Americans complaining that they are pulled over by police officers for no reason other than the color of their skin. Latin Americans are regularly pulled over and accused of being illegal immigrants just because of their ethnicity. It sometimes makes matters worse if they do not speak English. Some Latin Americans also claim they are accused of being gang members” (Nelson, 2009). This can decrease the accuracy of catching criminals and killing those who are not guilty. Police should be using behavior rather than looking at what they look
