It is hard enough to obtain correct information from the patient when the patient is sitting in front of you.
Radiology is a unit to where patients will get different scans such as x-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), fusion imaging, and ultrasound. Radiologist, on the other hand, is a doctor who is specialized in treating disease and injury through the use of medical imaging. This unit diagnosed hidden injuries, internal bleedings and etc, by doing a scan thoroughly with his body, focusing in his organs and abdomen. Contrast is used to improve the visibility of internal bodily structures. Jamey injected a contrast in the patient’s body that will travel through his bloodstream and lighten up tissue in the body.

Diagnostic medical sonography is a type of medical imaging that uses mobilizes high-frequency sound waves, otherwise known as ultrasound, to produce images of organs, tissues and blood flow. This occupation can also be referred to as an ultrasound technician/ technologist, vascular sonographer, sonography technician, echocardiographic technician, or a cardiovascular sonographer. An ultrasound technician is a person employed, skilled, and licensed to use a machine to examine and see body structures such as, tendons , muscles, joints, vessels, and internal organs. The main idea is to find a disease. There is also what you call an obstetric ultrasound which is used specifically just for examining pregnant women.

My career goal is to become a diagnostic medical sonographer, or an ultrasound technician. Each day as an ultrasound technician will bring new surprises. In the morning a sonographer could be conducting an OB/GYN ultrasound, helping an excited first-time mom see her fetus developing in her belly. Then, then in the next procedure your trying to calm an old woman as she waits to see if her tumors have grown. The days of a medical sonographer are never dull but are challenging, fast-paced, and rewarding.
With the populations growing and the ages of people increase medical imaging and the diagnosis of diseases seems to be in a higher demand. There is nothing but a positive outlook for a Radiologic tech. There is more to being a Radiologic technician that we never thought about. When we visit the health care office for one of these exams we might not have ever thought about the schooling and experience they have had to go threw to be helping you with what they are helping you with today. We might not have even know who the people are called that give you your x-ray exam , MRI, or your CT scan, but now you do and have background knowledge on who

Becoming an optometrist, the doctors who test and treat vision in patients, requires years of training, special skills, and high aptitudes in science and math, in order to earn the rewarding benefits and earnings of the profession. The most important step in becoming an Optometrist is the education and training needed for the rewarding career.
My role also means I help patients do the normal, everyday tasks that we take for granted, 23 such as changing themselves, or administering medication. 24 I believe in my strong communication skills, strength, intuition and ability to problem solve, 25 which are all important to the role of Diagnostic Radiographer, have been well developed 26 through my current job.
Radiomics lies at the juncture of what I believe to be extremely exciting science in the coming future of personalized medicine. This is what prompted me to approach Dr. Rivka Colen (desired mentor), of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, to conduct research in her lab. An interplay between research and clinical treatment such as the way Dr. Colen implements will be one of the grounds that I intend to structure my own practice around. The MD Anderson 1st Year Medical Student Program would help me achieve the first steps towards conducting research in my career as a physician-scientist.
