Being released from prison, for some, might be a difficult process; this is exceptionally true for sex offenders. To better elaborate, not only do most inmates who have committed sex crimes have to undergo intense amounts of therapy, during their incarceration, but they also have to agree and abide by numerous conditions upon release. For instance, most sex offenders are not permitted to have any contact with children under the age of eighteen (Gaines & Miller, 2015, p. 268).
