First off, not disagree with the decisions of the president to drop atomic bombs in Nagasaki, Hiroshima. The reason why I disagree with the atomic weapons that were drawn in japan is because there were thousand of people who were killed, innocent peoples who died in that bomb drops. there were military men who died, but at the same time is was acceptable for united states to fight, and win the war. United states were discomforted the lost thousand of people, including military, 48,000 people from the united states, military, and innocent peoples. It was grave that the united states had thousands of life that are why they proposed the attack besides japan.

I think that the Atomic bomb shouldn’t have been invented but I think dropping the Atomic Bomb was necessary to help and show the danger of it. If the atomic bomb was never dropped anything could have happened Russia could have dealt with it, but if that happened Japan would still be working on military weapons, and try to take of the Pacific again or tag team on America. If you were the president of the United States during a war, and the opposing forces were talking of surrender, would you not jump on even the possibility to negotiate surrender? Would you give them their one condition they ask for and then proceed to kill around 180,000 civilians then give them that one condition to make peace? The answer to both of those questions is no. Although I do believe that ending the war sooner and avoiding invasion is a must, there were other options that in my opinion would have worked as well. The USA did NOT have to drop the Atomic Bomb.

If I had the atomic bomb, I wouldn’t have used it. I would have kept it in a safe area with bolted locks and maximized security to ensure that the bomb would not fall into the wrong hands. There’s really no way to ensure the safety of others with this dangerous weapon because of the mass destruction that it can cause. So, knowing its capability for destruction and the forces of the Axes, I would have never funded the development of the atomic bomb to begin with.
The decision to drop the atomic bomb was a very hard decision for many people. The two sides to it were the people who didn’t feel the need to drop the atomic bomb and the people who did. It could have gone millions of different ways, but there was only one way that it went. Is it the right choice? Everyone had a different opinion of the atomic bomb dropping, although the atomic bomb was dropped you would be surprised at how many people didn’t want it dropped.
