However, the only use of an international nuclear bomb occurred during World War II. A nuclear bomb, or known as a nuke, is the most feared weapon the world has ever known. World leaders have an urge that they must build a nuclear bomb for their country to show strength if other countries want to invade their homeland. Nine countries have a nuclear weapon, including the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, China, India, Pakistan, Israel, and North Korea (BOMB). For example, Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev talked about ending the Cold War, and the Soviet Union changed their government into a democratic type of government, and is no longer communist. Reagan and Gorbachev both knew that a nuclear war would be a disaster, so Reagan and Gorbachev ended the Cold War because Gorbachev changed the Soviet government into a federal republic . North Korea withdrew from the N.P.T. in 2003, and the leaders of North Korea Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un has tested nuclear weapons in 2006, 2009, 2013, and now in 2016. North Korea needs to join the N.P.T. if North Korea wants to see their country not destroyed.
