Representing how they had more of a positive impact than a negative one on Eurasia. Overall, the Mongol Empire had a positive impact on the people of Eurasia, because of their extensive inventions and trade routes. The Mongols' inventions and use of the Silk Roads truly highlights the positive impact they had on Eurasia. The Silk Road and trade networks allowed travel and exploration to occur. Their inventions helped improve the lives of people throughout Eurasia for centuries to come.
European nations had a negative impact on China. European nations colonized parts of China. Rebellions were started in order to fight against European imperialism. Many nations gathered or came to China in order to gain or acquire something.
In the eleventh century, China and the world of Islam were flourishing. However they were conquered and ruled by the Mongols. The political and economic effects of Mongol rule on China and the Middle East were similar but different in their own way. The Mongols toleration and acceptance of the religions in that region were slightly different from each other.
Genghis Khan was a great and powerful leader who had very strong ideas on warfare and put them into use. those ideas are still being used today such as their army platoons. So in this way I think that Genghis Khan had a positive way in the world but in weird ways. Even though Genghis khan destroyed many cities he was the only leader to keep all of china together for hundreds of years. and he was the creator of pax mongolica.
Mongols were experts at conquering places but how did they do it ? The Mongols had developed composite bow that led them to becoming skilled at shooting and riding their horses at the same time. This allowed them to overtake foot soldiers. They could shoot up to more than 350 yards. They also developed a saddle that was made out of leather and sheeps fat to prevent from cracking.
The Mongols were a powerhouse for a relatively short period of time from 1206 to 1279 by ruling the majority of Asia and eastern Europe leading to them becoming the largest contiguous empire in history. This power is due to the power of Genghis Khan, the nomadic lifestyle of the Mongols, and most importantly the geography of Southern Asia. Asia is covered by steppes, extensive flat plains that are easy to traverse, and the Mongols used these to their advantage to easily travel through their empire. It was also important that they were nomadic because the Mongols never really stayed in one place. However, the Mongols were never able to take control of India because the Himalayan mountains blocked their path.
From 600 to 1450 C.E the Mongol empire provided safe trade routes which allowed for interregional migration within new states and empires to occur, thus allowing for significant technological transfers. Around this time period the Mongols had conquered most of the Chinese and the Arab Empire, while also taking control over the silk roads. The Mongols offered relatively safe protection for travels on the silk roads, allowing for people to freely move between empires, and bring with them goods and technology that they would exchange with other travelers. With the Mongols now in control of the trade routes, they seeked for economic gain, and now they were able to tax the exchange of goods and technology thus accumulating more wealth, and increasing the direct contact and technological transfers between empires. With the Mongol empire expanding and taking control over new territories, they needed to gain wealth to support the military and the population, thus when they took control over the major trade routes they would
How Should the Mongols be Remembered? Eight hundred years ago a small tribe from the steppes of Central Asia was so successful conquering a significant amount of the world, but their victories was not very pleasant. They conquered most of Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe and nothing has even been done before the Mongols established their army creating a massive empire in such little time. Although they were very victorious and successful their reputation was not pretty and other people called them "barbarians" which is a negative term referring to people who lived beyond the reach of the civilization and they were known as being evil and savage. The Mongols were nomads who lived in yurts and had few material possession knowing little about mining and were not interested in farming.
Verdict of the Trial of Genghis Khan. After the trial had taken place, I decided that Genghis Khan and the Mongols were uncivilized. During the time of the trial I learned much more of the brutality that had taken place during his reign. The barbaric attitudes and actions of himself and his followers is what led to him being found guilty of being uncivilized.
As stated before, there were so many things that the Mongols did in the past that they got crucially judged for, and people like to just sweep all the good impacts that the mongolian empire did under the rug. For instance all the good impacts get covered by a shadow of dust, they allowed life to continue and thrive with everything they did, it allowed the world to shape into what it is today. Therefore the positives rule out the negative. The Mongols did shed light on today's world, they may have not done any good while they were conquering but they did do a lot of good in the long
The Mongols, a native asian tribe, eight hundred years ago conquered much of the known world. Said tribe originated from the grasslands of central asia and went on to become one of the most successful and most conversed about castes in history. The story of the mongols, however, is one that is quite difficult to tell. The Mongols were an illiterate clan, making it close to impossible to receive a message in full context, much like the telephone game nowadays were a message is spread through many individuals until reaching the final destination. For hundreds of years the Mongols have been a center of debate for many history related discussions, though the common conclusion is yes, the mongols were a barbaric tribe, that’s not really the case, and it’s backed by facts.
Despite of their ruthless, the Mongol Empire did has positive impacts on the development of Europe in five different areas, namely political, economic, social, weapons advancement and spread of Christianity due to the Mongol exchange. First, in political aspects, some said the mongols have a negative impact on Europe , as they changed the political history of Europe, especially of Russia, because of their ruling in conquered countries. Genghis Khan used the psychological warfare, the terror tactics, to deal with the resistance: surrender or die. The Mongols usual policy was slaughtered and depopulated the entire cities that resisted, and
The Mongols Intro The Mongols have made a negative impact to all of us in one way or another. Some ways worse than others. Some of the things Genghis Khan has done may be cruel and wrong, but was what he had to do to be a great leader. The Mongolians ruled from 1260 to 1368 C.E, they were located in Mongolia, in the Northern China area.
The Mongolians had a positive impact on the world and the future history of Asia. The Mongolians started many inventions that are still used today. They also kept world peace for more than 100 years. They lived in East- Central Asia they reigned from 1260 to 1368. Others will say that the Mongol Empire had a negative effect during their period of ruling, but I beg to differ.
Mongol armies tore through most of the ancient world throughout the 13th century. Pillaging and plundering every nation in their path, the Mongols left an impressive wake of destruction and death. The Mongols shook the world with the impact of their conquests, but not of their influence was negative. Overall the Mongols brought much needed change in politics and commerce to both China and the Middle East.
