The Pros And Cons Of The Mormon Faith

The Mormon faith has over 70 denominations. However, they all fall under the umbrella of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) or the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (FJCLDS). The different denominations have different books, but all of the required books for the LDS teaching are the Holy Bible which includes both Old and New Testament, Book of Mormon, the Doctrine, and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price, including the Book of Moses. Excluding the Old and New Testaments, these books teach about the belief in tiers of heaven. These tiers are: Telestial, Terrestrial and Celestial Kingdoms. When it comes to the Mormon faith, there are a lot of rules and some may feel they are unusual. I will explain the cons of the Mormon faith and how it contradicts biblical teachings in the Christian faith.

These levels are: Telestial, Terrestrial, and Celestial. The Celestial Kingdom is the highest level of heaven. In order to make it to this level Mormons believe that you need to work and get married to go to the Celestial Kingdom along with married men who have completed their mission, their whole family was baptized and had a marriage through the temple. The next level down is the Terrestrial Kingdom. This level is for the good people of the earth “who were blinded by the craftiness of men” or basically they did not live according to the gospel of Jesus Christ when it was presented to them or accepted Jesus and then turned away. The Telestial kingdom is the lowest level and this is where “Servants of God, but "where God and Christ dwell they cannot come, worlds without end".
