Multiple companies are being breached every day. We are constantly seeing articles showing that these companies range from small businesses to corporations. These attacks vary and can happen at any time to anyone. While we are learning about different ways of social engineering in school, not many individuals have learned about the dangers of a work environment. Most companies have their rules and regulations so that they can prevent these things, however, not all of them work out well. Once the information technology team for the United States Postal Service caught wind of this happening, they told all the employees to change their password, and they implemented multifactor authentication. I am glad that they did this for us employees since we have so much information on our employee portal and now someone malicious has our information out there.
