World peace can be achieved by means of fixing flaws in the current world organization, United Nations, which would potentially restore balance to the scale, allow the enforcer better utilities to enforce the rules, and to allow it to stand independently regardless of the worldly influences which might cause it to disband. Hence, the question begins: Is there a better solution to world peace? A better solution might already rest in our hands, just not used correctly. The current world organization, the United Nations already provides us with a basic concept and a theoretical solution to solve problems and negotiate terms without resorting to violence. Yet it is flawed; not in the minor details that could easily be fixed but, the sentiment and the structure itself. Although it tried to mend the problems of the previously unsuccessful world organization, The League of Nations, some of the problems remain with the latter. Flaws of both organizations include a certain slant in the decision making process which does not provide a fair share of power to everyone. The League of Nations set a precedent with a ‘Western-Oriented’ Security Council whose policy of requiring unanimous decisions made it near impossible for decisions to get across or the
