Odysseus is a famous figure in greek folklore and an epic hero. he is the hero of homers epic lyric the odyssey, which tells the account of his ten-year-old journey home after the trojan War. odysseus is known for welcome intelligence deviousness and bravery. he faces many challenges on welcome journey including battles with horrors and gods, but he always survives to overcome them through his humor and strength. odysseus integrates the qualities of an epic brave person he is larger than life seizes superhuman skills and has a noble character.

Odysseus is an epic hero. Why? One reason is he is loyal to his crew he is consistently loyal. Protecting them from the cyclops Polyphemus. He ties them under sheep and he doesn't get tied because he ties everyone else. He chose to put himself last in leaving the cave and his crew members first, Because nobody was there to tie him he had to hold onto the wool of a ram all night he did it so Polyphemus the cyclops wouldnt know him and his crew escaped. “I was worn out with always handling the sheet myself, and I could not give it to any other companion, so we could come home quicker to our own country”.
